The goal of our program is to give children learning experiences that are meaningful to them at their individual level of development. The program provides a developmentally appropriate program for young children that will stimulate physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth. The Child-centered program is based on the belief that children learn through exploration and discovery. Formal and informal learning experiences facilitate the children's learning.
Meet the provider of Grace Childcare
Hello, my name is Silva, and I have been a licensed home childcare for children from birth to 11 years old for 20 years. Have always loved working with children. My goal as a teacher is to provide children with a rich environment where they feel respected, safe to explore and express themselves freely.
I went to Lake Washington Institute of Technology Collage to get my BA in Early Childhood Education. When I am not working with children, I spend time with family and friends, I like to go to hiking with my beloved Labradoodle, Jingle.
From our first visit, Grace Child Care felt like a warm embrace. Seeing our child bloom with joy, curiosity, and confidence has been magical. Silva and her team have created more than a childcare; they’ve crafted a nurturing haven. It’s been a transformative journey, watching our little one thrive in their loving care.
A day at Grace Childcare:
Each day at Grace childcare we play, sing, dance, move around. We go outside to play, run, jump, and explore nature. We also learn about the colors, shapes, numbers, and alphabet. We have free play time that children can use their imagination and be creative. We play as a team to discuss and solve problems together and develop different kinds of skills such as social, Emotional, and Language.
